Character Outlooks
This section is here to give you a good idea of how you are suppose to play the characters, what moves are good, and combos. Mostly how you are suppose to play the characters. Because most pages out there don't really have a section like this I am out here by myself, and everything should come from my personal experiences playing the game. Because of this, this page will be upgraded very very slowly because I am poor and can't spend all my money playing all day. Any information or strategy is gladly accepted and would be great as it would speed up the finishing of this perticular page.

Akuma (Gouki)

Vs Other Humans Vs Computer
Ever since he appeared, Akuma has been, in my opinion, the best character in nearly every game he appears in, with tons of moves and incredible strength
Akuma rocks. So far in SFA3 he is, in my opinion, one of the stronger characters in the game. Of course I still haven't played the game all that much but already Akuma shines through with amazing combo

ability and priority. Personally I play him rather cheaply, I jump in with a hard kick and then trip the guy and then do the over head chop, and because the opponent will usually block downwards I will hit him with the chop, I will then sweep him again with the down hardhick, thus tripping the opponent again. The opponent will have to guess whether you are attacking high or low and thus will mess up, this strat works great. I use the fire ball to keep the opponent at a distance and many times just to distract them and mess them up. The huricane kick is a great asset and should been done in the air and on the ground every once in a while. And the Dragon Punch should be used whenever somebody jumps at you. My Akuma is not all that great, but it sure cheaps lots of people out.

I don't really have much to say for this section because I really suck against the computer, since it never falls for my cheap tactics. Any suggestions for this part would be greatly appreciated.

E. Honda

Vs Other Humans Vs Computer
As far as I can tell E.Honda Could possibly be the best character in the game. He has monster priority and his head butt not only does huge damage but is really hard to counter. I find that the best way to use E. Honda is to use the head butt continously while jump hard punching the guy. Also a few butt drops work great when they are unexpected. One of the things that really does it for E. Honda is that because the range on his arms and legs is soo huge that he has way more priority than most ofther characters. Because I have never played E.Honda against the computer, I have have nothing to say for this section. Check back later.

Zangief

Vs Other Humans Vs Computer
Zangief is a real monster in this game. His spining piledriver is actually weaker than in most of his other games but his priority and damage on his normal moves more than makes up for this. Overall Zangief remains a monster in this game as in almost all the games that he is in. I use Zangief in a very defensive mannor I perfer to wait until my opponent makes a mistake and then capitolize on his or her mistake. Unfortuenately because of the new guard break problem waiting for somebody to make a mistake is stupid because they will be breaking your guard the whole time and destroying you, now Zangief is forced to become offensive. Now I play Zangief by jumping at the guy and either hard kick him in the air or land and do a spining piledriver. If he is blocking then you spin him , if he is trying to counter you you do the hard kick, both works great. The rushing bear grab is a great move to do in this game, at a range the move does almost as much a a spining, and close up it does more damage. Use this the moment a guy gets up from a fall or a trip. If he learns to jump away or dragon punch you when he gets up then do a trip instead of the grab, he will expect the grap and get tripped again. Use the trip and the bear grab interchangably. Zangief is actually really good against the computer, just do what you do against humans but just keep more defensive and do alot of rushing bear grabs.
